AGV Pista Helmets
The helmet created for MotoGP™ is now available to every rider. Pista GP RR is an exact replica of the AGV helmet used in races by professional world championship riders. It has therefore received FIM homologation, which certifi es the highest possible level of protection, even against any dangerous twisting.
The ultimate track helmet is now even better, with an included hydration system, MotoGP-developed metal air vents, and a wind tunnel-tested “biplano” spoiler that has multiple wings to maximise aerodynamic performance and add stability at high speed. How to Measure your Head
Properly measuring your head is crucial to finding a motorcycle helmet that fits comfortably and provides optimal safety. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you accurately measure your head for a motorcycle helmet:
Materials Needed:
- Flexible measuring tape
- Mirror (optional)
- Pen and paper
Steps:
-
Prepare:
- Find a quiet, well-lit area where you can comfortably measure your head.
- If possible, stand in front of a mirror to ensure the measuring tape is level all the way around your head.
-
Position the Measuring Tape:
- Place the measuring tape around your head, just above your eyebrows and ears. The tape should be snug but not too tight. It should rest comfortably on your forehead and wrap around the widest part of the back of your head.

-
Measure:
- Allow the tape to meet at the center of your forehead. Take note of the measurement where the two ends of the tape meet. This measurement is your head circumference.

-
Try on Helmets:
- Try on helmets in the size you've selected. Ensure the helmet fits snugly but comfortably, with no pressure points or gaps. The helmet should sit level on your head, covering your forehead and not tilting forward or backward.
-
Check for Fit:
- Fasten the chin strap securely. Try moving the helmet side to side and up and down. The helmet should stay in place and not shift around excessively.
-
Comfort and Feel:
- Pay attention to comfort and how the helmet feels overall. A properly fitting helmet should feel snug but not overly tight and not cause discomfort or headaches.
Remember that a proper-fitting helmet is essential for safety. If you're unsure about your measurements or the fit, consider visiting a local motorcycle gear store where experts can assist you in finding the right helmet size for your head shape and provide personalized guidance.
