Let me start by saying, the hunt for the perfect distressed red motorbike jacket has been *real*. I've scoured shops and websites for ages looking for something that didn’t just look cool in photos, but would actually live up to the hype once I rode out. Most reds are either too flashy, too dull, or just…off. Enter the Black Arrow Red – and trust me, it’s freaking sexy.
First impression: you see this rich, deep red with a vintage, lived-in vibe that oozes attitude without trying too hard. The distressed finish is legit – it doesn’t look painted on, but like it’s gone a few rounds with some good roads (in the best possible way). It turns heads, and flat-out matches my bike as if they were made for each other.
Fit-wise, I was genuinely wowed. Jackets that “fit like a glove” usually don’t leave room for actual movement, but Black Arrow nailed it. The cut is flattering without being restrictive, and there’s enough room for a hoodie underneath when it’s chill. I slid in, zipped up, and instantly felt like it was tailored just for me.
Protection? All the right pieces are here – elbow, shoulder, AND back panels so I can ride with real confidence. Yet it doesn’t feel bulky or stiff; they’ve somehow managed true gear with style (finally, someone gets it).
If you’ve been searching for that elusive combo of killer looks, genuine protection, and *actual* comfort, this is it. Black Arrow’s red jacket totally raised my standards. Worth every penny, and then some.

I was informed the entire time and any questions I had Amanda was extremely quick with getting back to me.
When I measured myself I was inbetween 2 sizes. The XL and the XXL. I emailed Amanda and she advised to go the bigger size and I am glad I did, in the photos I am just wearing a thin long sleeve under the jacket but I have room for a thin jumper if needed.
It felt really good and form fitting when I was riding.
I can recommend the store in general in terms of customer support and also the jacket!
I’m so happy with my jacket and it was perfect size for me. I’m between size 8-10 and the recommended size was XS but I got S because I like to layers up and go through the winter on the Gold Coast.

We are committed to your satisfaction. If you need to exchange or refund, you can do so within 30 days of purchase.
All items need to be in brand new condition with tags, armour (if applicable) and all relevant packaging.
The buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping back to us.
Please note we cannot exchange or refund the following items:

- Bike maintenance products such as Motul or Muc-Off cleaners, lubes, and oil
To back up the quality of the products we stock, we offer a 12-month warranty on all products in our store from the date of purchase, even if the manufacturer's warranty is shorter.
We'll need photos of the item and details of what happened to cause it.
Manufacturing defects include unravelling stitching, stuck or broken zippers, or premature detaching of parts.
Warranty does not cover discolouration, wear from normal use, normal breakdown of materials, or damaged caused by misuse or a crash.
