Lightweight, durable, highly functional pack vest for off-road rides

The Trail vest: An answer to a question that evolved from the dialogue of what riders use to carry or store things when they head off-road and don’t want to take a backpack.

Setting it apart
The Trail vest needed to be lightweight, durable, but also highly functional. And to build that solid foundation, we took inspiration from running vests but created ours with a motorcycling twist. And unlike our range of Kriega x REV’IT! backpacks collection, we wanted to create something that was more along the lines of a jacket approach, and something that sits close to the body, not one that sits on the back.

A step further
We outfitted the Trail vest with two chest pockets that are prepared to house a 500ml soft bottle hydra bag in each compartment, so you can stay hydrated on your adventures. There is also a lower back pocket prepared for the 1.5L lumbar hydra bag, to keep the weight distribution low; allowing you to fill the waterproof 7L main compartment with additional layers, rain gear, food, or whatever you want to bring along. The hydra bag drinking pipe is then fed up the vest so there’s no leakage onto your clothes, and no risk of it catching on anything while riding. Taking care of the safety aspect, we added shoulder pockets prepared for the Garmin® InReach® Mini.

Fit and functionality
To make sure you have the snuggest fit that you’d like, we included adjustment straps at the front closure and waist. We also created the Trail vest with durable yet lightweight materials to work with a host of body shapes including 3D air mesh, CORDURA® ripstop, stretch mesh, and PWR|Shell ripstop stretch. The Trail vest can easily be worn over your protection and your shell jacket and is also prepared to host the REV’IT! Segur neck brace.

Fit

Regular fit
The Regular fit is designed for comfortable wear, and it’s tailored to suit different body shapes and sizes. However, it is not considered loose. It falls around the body instead of conforming to the rider's physique.

This knitted fabric has an open, 3-dimensional structure that ensures good ventilation while riding. 3D air mesh is a must-have for long touring riders.

CORDURA® with ripstop properties.

PWR|Shell ripstop stretch
Durability and great abrasion resistance are the defining characteristics of PWR|Shell, thanks to its special ripstop weaving. Thick reinforcement threads are interwoven at regular intervals into the fabric in a crosshatch pattern known as ripstop.

Visibility

Laminated reflection on back
Reflection panels ensure excellent visibility at all angles, allowing the wearer to be seen from all directions. To offer a more sophisticated look, the reflection panels are welded to the fabric.
