Exchanges, Refunds, and Returns
We offer a 30-day exchange or return policy to ensure you’re happy with your purchase. Just keep in mind that there are a few terms and conditions to consider.
Exchanges
There are no fees for exchanging an item, however, the buyer is responsible for the return shipping.
Returns
Returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee when refunded onto the original payment method.
To avoid the restocking fee, the full amount can be refunded as store credit instead.

EXCHANGES
Yes! We accept exchanges if you wanted to swap size or colour.
Go to our RETURNS & EXCHANGES CENTRE and follow the easy steps to request an exchange.
You are responsible for the cost of returning items. However, we will cover the shipping cost for the first exchange.

These items cannot be exchanged or returned under any circumstances (please don't ask us to bend the rules - we are trying to do right by all riders in our community!)
- Any items marked "CLEARANCE" in the title
- All helmets
- All consumable products (oils, cleaners, etc)
- Any packaged items (eg. neck warmers, socks, etc) that have been opened, used, or have missing packaging
- Special orders (items we don't normally hold stock of but brought in for you)
Sure you can, but because you won't be able to do this through our Returns & Exchanges Centre, please contact us if you'd like to exchange your item with a different product.

Peak Moto is a small business and we care deeply about our customers.
We're happy to have a chat with you to recommend a size before you buy. Contact us or refer to the size charts and fitment advice carefully.
Feel free to send us full-body photos to assist with determining your body shape, or schedule an online Fit Consultation for personalised live sizing advice.
Please avoid purchasing multiple sizes to try them on, as it incurs significant costs for all parties involved.
If the item you are exchanging has a higher price than the item you are receiving, we will process a refund of the difference.
If you are exchanging for a higher priced item, you can pay the difference.
We at Peak Moto realise that buying online can at times be hit and miss with sizes and fit, or that occasionally there may be a fault with the product so we are more than happy to exchange any garment that does not fit as long as it meets the following criteria.
- Must be in new condition (unused, tags still attached, armour still installed, with original packaging). Please try on your purchase as soon as you receive it. If there are any issues please contact us immediately to arrange an exchange. If your product doesn’t fit do not keep wearing it as we cannot accept returned goods that have been used, even for a short ride around the block.
- Return your purchase with any and all packaging that it was sent to you with (including tags, any plastic bags if it came with it, drawstring bags where applicable, etc).
- Make sure you have read our size guide and fitting instructions as some products (e.g. Lara Cargos) are a tight fit.
- Any returned items will be subject to inspection before we agree to exchange or return.
- The buyer will be responsible for the cost of returns and exchanges coming back to us, but we don't charge for the first shipping cost back to you. If you require a 2nd exchange, we may charge an additional shipping fee at our discretion.
All items marked as "CLEARANCE" are final sale.
Clearance items are offered at reduced prices to facilitate inventory turnover and make way for new collections.
No exchanges or returns will be accepted for these items under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Older styles of existing products
- Discontinued styles, colors, or sizes
- Brands we are no longer stocking
- Incorrect choice
- Size or colour discrepancies
- Any other reason "CLEARANCE" is in the title
Please note that the discounted price of CLEARANCE items accounts for the potential risk of imperfect fit. By purchasing a CLEARANCE item, you explicitly accept this risk and agree to these terms.
All clearance and sale items are marked with "CLEARANCE" in the title and are final sale—no refunds or exchanges will be accepted for any reason.
We appreciate your understanding and adherence to this policy, and we ask that you respect these guidelines without request for exceptions.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
Go to our RETURNS & EXCHANGES CENTRE and follow the easy steps to request a return.
You can exchange or return an item within 30 days of purchase.
Please try on your purchase as soon as you receive it. If your product doesn’t fit do not keep wearing it as we cannot accept returned goods that have been used.
Please bear in mind that it costs us fees to take payment via credit card, PayPal, or similar gateways, and it also costs us time and postage fees to send it out to you. There are also many associated costs with managing a returned item (see the next tab "What is a restocking fee?")

We will process the refund to the same payment method you used to purchase the item minus the restocking fee.
A restocking fee is a charge that retailers may impose when a customer returns a product due to change of mind or incorrect choice. This fee helps cover the costs of inspecting, repackaging, and reselling the item.
In Australia, it’s important to note that refunds for returned items are not an automatic right - Businesses are not required to issue refunds for change of mind or incorrect purchases.
However, we strive to balance customer satisfaction with the challenges and expenses of operating a retail business. So, we do accept returns.
We apply a 10% restocking fee for items returned to your original payment method, while refunds issued as store credit/gift cards do not incur any fee.
This fee helps cover:
- Transaction and processing fees
- Shipping costs (if applicable)
- Administrative time for our staff to manage and inspect your return
- Capital tied up in excess stock, as we generally replace your item in inventory
This fee is designed to discourage misuse of our return policy while ensuring we can continue providing excellent service. Fortunately, most of our customers are very satisfied with their gear and rarely need to make returns!

Refund Policy for Worn Items
Refunds or exchanges will not be provided for items that have been used, even for 1 ride, as they cannot be resold as new.
We recommend trying on your item indoors immediately upon receipt to ensure it meets your satisfaction and that you are comfortable before using it for riding.
By taking the gear out on a ride, we assume that you are entirely happy with your purchase. We welcome feedback on anything that comes up during your ride, however please note that the item can no longer be exchanged or returned.
Order Cancellation and Refund Policy
If your order has not yet been shipped and your circumstances have changed, we may process a refund and cancel your order. Please note that payment processing fees for credit cards, PayPal, or similar gateways are incurred even if the order is not dispatched. This could include our costs associated with ordering your item in, then sitting on the stock.
For returns due to a change of mind, a 10% restocking fee may be applied to cover these processing costs.
Special Orders
Special orders, which are items we do not typically stock and have sourced specifically for you (including custom styles, sizes, or colours), cannot be cancelled. These items are treated as clearance items and are non-returnable, as they cannot be easily resold or returned to the supplier.
We’ve introduced a restocking fee to safeguard against individuals who might take advantage of our previous return policy.
While we truly appreciate our loyal customers, we’ve encountered instances of misuse that have prompted this change.
We believe in treating all our customers fairly, and we’re committed to upholding that principle.
While we cannot make exceptions to the restocking fee, we do evaluate each request on a case-by-case basis. Thank you for your understanding!
WARRANTY
All products are covered by a standard 12-month manufacturer's warranty against defects from the date of receipt.
Key Points:
- Proof of Purchase: Keep your tracking information from Australia Post. If this information is not available, we will use the order date to verify the warranty period.
- Warranty Coverage: The warranty covers defects due to manufacturing faults that directly affect the integrity or safety of the product, such as torn seams or broken zippers. It does not cover wear and tear, misuse, overuse, or minor issues not impacting product safety.
- Decision Authority: Warranty claims are determined solely by Peak Moto, the manufacturer, or the supplier. The decision is not influenced by customer preferences.
- Repairs and Replacements: For genuine warranty issues, we will offer a replacement. If repair costs are lower and feasible locally, we may consider compensating these costs at our discretion. Refunds for warranty issues are not provided except in exceptional cases.

Replacement Policy for Major Problems
We will replace an item if it has a major problem. A major problem is defined as:
- Unacceptable Condition: The item has a defect that would have prevented a reasonable person from purchasing it if they had been aware of the issue.
- Safety Issue: The item is unsafe to use.
- Performance Failure: The item does not perform as advertised and cannot be easily repaired.
Alternatively, you may choose to keep the item and receive compensation for any reduction in its value. We may also cover the cost of repairs and supply the necessary parts for the repair, at our discretion.
Warranty Issues: For items with warranty issues, we will arrange for a replacement. Refunds are not provided for warranty issues, except in exceptional circumstances.

Liability Disclaimer
While we strive to provide high-quality products, Peak Moto is not liable for any accidents or injuries that may occur while using our products. By wearing our products, you acknowledge that you are satisfied with their condition and quality.
Please note that motorcycle protective equipment cannot guarantee absolute safety due to the numerous variables involved, such as the nature of the accident, impact force, abrasion duration, and other external factors. The performance of our products in any accident may be influenced by these factors.
