We are a boutique motorcycle gear and accessories shop specialising in women's motorcycle gear. As a community of riders, we aim to drive positive change in the motorcycle industry.
While prior experience with motorcycle gear isn't mandatory, we're looking for people who are eager to learn. Especially if you're interested in our niche in inclusive-sized women's motorcycle gear.

CONTENT CREATOR (MELBOURNE) - CONTRACT

Pay: $200 per 30-90s video, starting with 4 videos per month - paid on a monthly retainer

Location: Peak Moto, 265 Bay St, Port Melbourne, VIC 3207 Australia
Main Responsibilities:
- Create engaging short-form video content (30–90 seconds) for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook. Videos will be used organically and for paid advertising.
- Develop educational and entertaining motorcycle gear content designed to build trust, increase engagement, and strengthen the Peak Moto brand
- Present confidently on camera and communicate product information in a natural, relatable way.
- Produce content concepts around topics such as riding gear guides, safety education, fit advice, product comparisons, and rider tips.
- Plan, film, edit, and deliver high-quality video content optimised for social media platforms.
- Create “hook-first” content that captures attention within the first 1–3 seconds.
- Stay up to date with current social media trends, formats, and platform best practices.
- Collaborate with the Peak Moto team on campaign ideas, promotions, launches, and seasonal content.
- Incorporate brand tone, messaging, and product priorities into content while maintaining authenticity.
- Deliver content consistently and meet agreed production timelines.
- Occasionally feature products in-store, on-bike, or in riding environments.
You'd thrive in this role if you:
- Actively ride a motorcycle
- Are familiar with and align with the values of Peak Moto
- Have a keen interest in social media and content creation
- Have a strong knowledge of Reels/TikTok storytelling and audience retention
- Have an understanding of curiosity hooks
- Understand what makes ads feel native to each platform
- Be familiar with social media platform analytics
- Able to independently plan, shoot, and edit content.
- Understand how to balance education, entertainment, and conversion-focused content.

RETAIL ASSISTANT (MELBOURNE) - CASUAL

Main Responsibilities:
- Be the face of the shop and represent the Peak Moto brand
- Match riders with their perfect gear
- Provide fitment advice to riders of all shapes and sizes
- Assist with merchandising and store displays
- Handle cash and card transactions and utilise our POS system
- Demonstrate proper usage of motorcycle gear
- Work efficiently in our small storeroom
- Be able to make independent decisions when working solo
- Perform stocktake and be able to accurately update inventory levels
- Small amounts of online dispatch (packing and shipping customer orders) where needed
You'd thrive in this role if you:
- Actively ride a motorcycle so that you are able to empathise with the problems our customers face
- Are keen to grow with Peak Moto
- Have a background in retail and/or e-commerce (we use Shopify)
- Have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Have attention to detail, particularly in SKU differentiation
- Have the physical fitness to climb a 3-step ladder and handle heavy gear above your head
- Have a proactive approach to both busy periods and improving shop operations during quieter times
- Are proficient in quickly sourcing information when you don't know something - you're able to learn on the fly
- Can navigate websites and use a keyboard with legendary speed
Bonus if you are actively a part of a riding community, such as regularly going to group rides and events.

A Day in the Life
On the Job at Peak Moto
- Rock up on your motorbike, or car if you drive on rainy days
- Melbourne: There's motorbike parking directly on our very wide footpath right outside the shop, or inside the back of our shop
- Brisbane: There's a reserved parking spot right out the front, and motorcycle parking across the road
- Turn the shop and neon signs on, then put your favourite music on the sound system.
- Have a quick catchup between the 2 shops to start the day, so that we're all across the recent orders
- Go through the lineup of premium motorcycle gear and tidy up the showroom
- When customers walk in, greet them - they're happy to be there, and we usually get the most incredible customers. They're often in the local motorcycle community.
- Enjoy some friendly bike chat while getting customers gear in their size - they're thrilled that we cater for them.
- Once they're ready to checkout, bring them to the til and operate the Point of Sale - they usually pay with card, but occasionally cash. You'd pack their gear up in a nice tote bag and wave them goodbye.
- When times get slow, a quick vacuum and dusting of the mirrors. You'd stocktake a few product lines every week to make sure the inventory is correct.
- If you spot some gear you might like, try it on! Everyone is encouraged to try on our whole range of gear. Why not? You're surrounded by motorcycle gear!
- Take your break whenever you want. We're all adults and we can self-regulate when we want to eat. Heat up your food or take a walk around the neighbourhood to sample one of the many cafes and restaurants in the area.
- At the end of your shift, reset the shop and make it ready for the next day
- Gear up, and ride home!

MELBOURNE
Our shop is conveniently located in Port Melbourne, with ample motorcycle parking right out front.
Situated for easy access from all directions of Melbourne and minutes away from major highways, commuting to and from work is effortless.
There is a Coles within a 5-minute walk, and are located on Bay St which is full of multiple lunch options to choose from. We are a few blocks away from the beach, perfect for an evening cruise after work!
We also have roller door access should you want to park your bike indoors on rainy days.
BRISBANE
We are located in the beautiful inner-city suburb of West End, which is easily accessible by bus, train, and ferry.
We own the car park directly in front of our shop. There are also 5 motorcycle parking bays across the street.
There are multiple food options at your doorstep, including nice cafes and several takeaway places for lunch. There is an Aldi and a Woolies within a 5-minute walk if you need to grab your groceries after work too!
