Aura Wind Stop Jacket

I’ve owned this for a while because - Melbourne.

Yesterday was my chance to really test it out.
Went on a long day cruise, according to the weather - 28, no rain predicted.
So I happily at out in my Moto Girl Daisy dungarees with a singlet underneath my riding jacket - good times!

However just before we hit our last stop we were treated to a light sprinkle of rain.
During our last stop this turned into a bit of a downpour with no signs of easing up and temperatures plummeted - thanks Melbourne!

Luckily I always carry my Moto Girl Aura Wind stop jacket in my Octane leg bag. I whipped that baby out popped it on and made my merry way home down major freeways in the rain without the slightest chill.
To say I was amazed would be an understatement- I run on the cold side and often wear 4 layers on top when riding. I feel that this could now be a thing of the past!
The jacket is so light that you don’t even notice it.
I still marvel at how small it compacts when packed down for the amount of protection it offers. Don’t let the size in the pic fool you, it squishes down wayyyy smaller than that!

Definitely something everyone should carry - especially if you live in Melbourne!

Aura Wind Stop Jacket

I love how the Aura Wind Stop Jacket scrunches down to nothing, I can always find space to pack it. Slip in on for the early morning chilly starts then pack it away for the heat of the day. It's amazing how something so light can make such a difference with the wind chill factor. Allows me to wear my mesh jacket for much longer as the seasons start to change too.

I've spent quite a lot on tops looking for something that was windproof to put under my Fiona jacket, but had to keep looking - until I found this. It's relatively cheap and definitely works to keep the wind out. It doesn't add warmth, but works brilliantly to stop the wind. It is also so small to carry when you aren't using it. Highly recommended.

I was sceptical but happy to be proven wrong. I was :) This little marvel is automatically pulled on for every ride now. Being an older rider (mid 70's) I find that I feel the cold more these days and this fantastic wind stopper definitely helps to keep me warm without me being bulked up with so many layers that I can't move :) Easy to pack into my bum-bag when the day warms up a bit.

So thin but makes such a huge difference. I wear it under my leather jacket and keeps me so warm during my winter morning commutes

I love the wind jacket! I got caught out with the weather and was thankful I had packed the small bundle - it made a difference putting it on under my summer jacket

So I have waited to review so I could test this wind stop jacket under a lot of conditions and I'm glad I have. This is the best addition to my riding wardrobe. It's tiny, can be scrunched, folded, rolled and shoved into any small pocket, bag or space so it's never left behind. Cuts the chill factor when you get caught in weather changes on nice days and great for morning starts without crazy layering up. So super happy with this little convenient jacket.

Does not make a winter jacket of a summer jacket, that however is my stupidity. It fits well under a jacket, pulling on over the head. Comfortable and breathable. packs up small. Its great.

The Wind Stop is a game changer for me.
I live in QLD and have a vented leather jacket and no amount of jumpers or thermal keep the cheeky early morning winter chills out but this little number does. I can now wear my fav jacket all year round without bulky jumpers in winter ❤️
