Its strategically matched, abrasion resistant Cordura® ripstop and PWR|Shell stretch ripstop materials give a hard-wearing, durable look to the Component 2 H2O’s actual tactical and lightweight characteristics. With 100% wind and waterproof, laminated hydratex, CE-level 1 SEESMART armour, and an added pouch to upgrade things with a CE-level 2 SEESOFT back protector, the Component 2 H2O pulls out all the stops.

A 3-layer construction; the hydratex|3L membrane has a layer of protective tricot laminated on each side of the membrane. This results in a waterproof and breathable membrane that is also very durable.

Ready for Avertum Tech-Air® airbag system - ONE SIZE UP
Under this garment you can wear our REV'IT! Avertum Tech-Air® Airbag - or a Tech5 airbag - if you purchase the garment one size bigger than your usual size. If you wish to wear a garment that is marked as ""Ready for Avertum Tech-Air® airbag system"", you must be sure that the garment can accommodate the expansion of the airbag and therefore we recommend following below fit equation: 1. Measure chest circumference and divide the measurement by two; 2. Measure garment flat on chest line; 3. If the difference between point 1 and point 2 is 12 centimeters or bigger the garment is suitable to wear on top of the airbag. Note: Please keep in mind that the garment should be purchased in the correct size in order for the shoulder and elbow protection to fit properly and best protect you in case of a crash. In order to create space for the expansion of the airbag, you can remove all separate layers (thermal liners, water proof liners) that can restrict the expansion of the airbag in the event of a crash. Remove the separate back protector in your garment, if any, when wearing the airbag (a back protector is included in the airbag) and adjust all adjustment straps on body to the widest position.

A three-layer CORDURA® with ripstop properties.

Neoprene
Neoprene is a synthetic rubber useful for protective gear. It is abrasion-resistant, chemical-resistant, waterproof, somewhat stretchable, and buoyant.


PWR|Shell ripstop stretch
Durability and great abrasion resistance are the defining characteristics of PWR|Shell, thanks to its special ripstop weaving. Thick reinforcement threads are interwoven at regular intervals into the fabric in a crosshatch pattern known as ripstop.
